Spring Anomalies From BC To SoCal

Cap Allon
May 22, 2024

Environment Canada is issuing snow warning for British Columbia's southern mountain passes.

The weather office issued special weather statements Tuesday for the Coquihalla Highway, Allison Pass,
Okanagan Connector and Kootenay Pass, warning that an upper trough of low pressure will deliver Arctic air to
the BC Interior this week.

Environment Canada says snowfall can be expected through Wednesday, particularly during the early hours. It
is encouraging travelers planning to take the affected highways to be prepared and monitor snowfall
conditions.

This part of the world has been enduring significant cold anomalies of late, stretching from NE Canada down
through the majority of the Western US:

The cold isn't expected to shift anytime soon, either.

Below is Sunday, May 26:

The snow will also persist, even into June for some:

HOW are they arriving?

Are the forest spontaneously igniting? 451° there, huh?

Notice how they NEVER say HOW these fires started.

HOW are they arriving?
Heard of lightning?

As the atm warms it can carry more water vapor.
Both of these trends tend to increase the amount of lightning.
Across the S US e.g. the avg time for big lightning storms is
moving closer and closer to the start of the year rather than mid summer.
And the number of lightning storms is also increasing.
Georgia is showing the biggest trends with Florida Num 2:

Nope.

Because the methods by which fires start haven't changed.

A very large OIL AND GAS PUMPING OPERATION is across the area where the fires started again in BC Canada / Alberta!

Nope. That's what anyone with intelligence would call a "constant" in
the equation.

The things that start forest fires haven't changed, but the conditions
in which those things can actually START a fire are required as well.

You can safely drop a lit cigar in a forest when it's damp enough.
