Former President Barack Obama is receiving criticism following his
recent remarks urging Black men to support Vice President Kamala
Harris in the upcoming election. During a campaign event for Harris in
Pittsburgh, Obama pointed out a noticeable decline in voter enthusiasm
compared to when he was running for office.

He specifically highlighted the lag in turnout among Black men,
stating, “We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in
all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was
running,” and noted the issue seemed “to be more pronounced with the
brothers.”

Obama further suggested that some Black men might be hesitant to
support a female candidate, implying they might be finding “excuses”
to avoid voting for Harris. “Part of it makes me think that, well, you
just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president,” Obama
said, addressing men directly.

Nothing racist in his exhortation.
Plenty. Only liberals bring up race.
And the five black men he was talking to looked totally unimpressed.
